The glue that holds everything together in the universe is love. Each of us is the source of this love or serenity. The power of being in harmony with oneself in the interest of serving others makes anything possible. People who stand out above others in the diversity and inclusion profession model this love. The following qualities enable them to make a difference in their work:

1. They focus less on changing stereotypes and discrimination, and more on what can be done to improve the human condition on the planet.

2. They continuously seek to widen their capacity to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.

3. The need to share with others consumes their lives.

4. They transcend their own ego.

5. They understand that if any one of us suffers, all of humanity also suffers.

6. They give without seeking rewards.

7. Truth & honesty drives them more than food intake or sexual satisfaction.

8. They understand how the self is interconnected with all living things.

9. They value TRUTH and the love it generates.

10. Others want to be around them because their love and integrity are infectious.
